finally finished this animated gif of the protagonist of my next comic, Lucille. I’d been posting all the WIP stages on twitter so here they all are, together in a row.
Sorry if you’ve sent an ask that I haven’t responded to recently - I get kinda shy about posting them and my natural response is to lazily put them off. i’mma make a post answering a bunch of ‘em tomorrow.
Did you know that you can make fake 3D pixel art in Blender by just like turning anti-aliasing off?? And pixelizing post-effects? Sounds super simple but it took me forever to figure it out.
Since every time I dive into pixel art I face the tedious challenge to pick a decent color palette for my artwork, I have decided to spend some time to make a decent amount of color palettes i will use in the future. This way i will save some time and mental sanity.
Also, considering the fact that I have spent a good amount of time making these palettes I am considering it and entry for the “Pixell’al giorno”.

I will eventually add, change or remove some colors as i am sure my eyes will become picky for better colors along the way ;)
